Risør Shipping was established in 2023 to be an alternative to the industry giants. Leveraging decades of experience in shipping and finance, we are creating a new type of shipping company, with the ambition to utilise more advanced technology and new ideas to create better shipping solutions.
Risør Shipping may be a newcomer on the global shipping scene, but our roots reflect centuries of rich maritime history and know-how. We chose Risør as our name and the town as our symbolic headquarters because Risør stands for exactly the same values we do – traditional and humble – yet always looking to the future.
