The Risør Shipping Team
Risør Shipping AS is the investment and ownership arm of the group. The team is located in Oslo, Norway.
The Risør Management team
Risør Management is the operational arm of Risør Shipping. The team is located in Bergen, Norway and Schoonhoven, Netherlands.

Technical Director
Håvard has extensive experience in leadership, strategy, and business development. He is known for combining analytical insight with practical execution, delivering results across multiple industries. With a clear focus on sustainability and innovation, he contributes to strengthening the company’s competitiveness and growth.
Vladislav Koltan
QA Manager
Vladislav Koltan is an experienced QA Manager with deep knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC matters in the shipping industry and maritime legislation. Background – Master Mariner. He is responsible for the development, implementation and functioning of the Risør Management AS Safety Management System.
Paul van Buren
Fleet Manager
Paul van Buren has been sailing as a ship’s engineer on various types of seagoing vessels, for over 10 years and is still in possession of an unlimited Chief Engineer Cert. of Competency.
He has been working as a Technical Superintendent and Fleet Manager since 2006 and now running the technical department for Risor Management AS from the branch office in The Netherlands.
The Risør Shipping Board
The Board of Directors oversees the operational strategy of the group.
Rebecca Holbeck
Board Member
Rebecca Holbeck is an experienced operating officer with background from investments and portfolio management as well as company management. She serves on the board of directors of several other prominent companies and holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Imperial College.
Viggo Leisner
Board Member
Viggo Leisner is Member of the Board of Lea Bank and Chair of nomination committee in Nordic Semiconductor.
He previously held positions as Director of Jaja Finance Holding (UK) Ltd., Director of Arcane Crypto AS, Chairman of Tomsk Refining AB, Chairman of BRAbank ASA, Director of Fesil AS, Director of Spectrum ASA, and Investment Manager of Arne Blystad AS. Leisner is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and the University of Aalborg.
